Q and A

I drink a lot of caffeinated beverages in the form of diet cola? If an average person stopped drinking caffeinated cola and used caffeine pills occasionally what effects could be expected?

Soft drinks contains a variety of ingredients, not just caffeine. FDA approved caffeine pills contain a variety of ingredients, not just caffeine. Soft drinks contain lots of liquid; caffeine pills do not. What you can expect is that the beverages and pills will produce noticeably different results. The beverages and pills will not produce identical results because of the different ingredients, dosages of the different ingredients. There’s a lot more to soft drinks and pills than just the single ingredient caffeine. X-ref: Ingredients matter. X-ref: Brothers, M.D.; Renshaw, M.D.; neurology.
